Description

The Captain is a hands-on shift leader who keeps the floor running smoothly and supports staff across all roles. You’ll be responsible for the flow of service, guest satisfaction, and stepping in where needed—whether it’s bussing tables, taking orders, running food, or solving service issues on the fly– this isn’t an office gig. You set the pace and tone of the shift through action and presence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead floor operations during service
  • Assist FOH staff by greeting guests, bussing, running food, and taking orders when needed
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar teams
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and direction to servers, bussers, and hosts
  • Maintain cleanliness and ensure opening/closing side work is completed
  • Handle cash-outs and basic shift reporting
  • Keep energy high and service consistent through strong floor presence

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a restaurant
  • 5+ years of full-service restaurant experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Able to stay calm and supportive in fast-paced, high-volume service
  • Willingness to lead by example and do any job needed during a shift
  • Weekend and evening availability required
