Greet guests promptly and warmly; manage the host stand and maintain a professional, welcoming presence.
Manage reservations, waitlist, and seating rotations efficiently to optimize guest flow and server workload.
Communicate guest needs, special requests, and table status clearly to servers and bartenders.
Answer phones, take reservations, and provide accurate information about hours, menu items, and specials.
Maintain the entrance and host area—keep menus, coat hooks, and waiting areas clean and organized.
Assist with opening and closing tasks as needed, including restocking host supplies and preparing the dining area.
Support a positive guest experience by addressing concerns calmly and escalating issues to management when necessary.
Required qualifications

Lead day-to-day restaurant operations during assigned shifts and maintain a strong presence on the floor.
Support, coach, and direct FOH team members throughout service.
Manage the flow of service, including floor coverage, sections, breaks, cuts, and staffing adjustments.
Ensure guests receive friendly, attentive, and efficient service.
Handle guest concerns and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
Monitor food and beverage quality, ticket times, cleanliness, music, lighting, and overall restaurant atmosphere.
Work closely with bartenders, servers, support staff, kitchen leadership, and other managers to keep service running smoothly.
Ensure opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work responsibilities are completed properly.
Enforce company policies, service standards, alcohol-service procedures, and safety expectations.
Assist with training and development of new and existing team members.
Complete shift paperwork, cash handling, deposits, and other manager administrative duties as assigned.
Identify maintenance, staffing, or operational issues and communicate them to the appropriate leadership.
Step into any position when needed to support the team and guest experience.

Previous restaurant, bar, or hospitality experience required; prior leadership or management experience strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of front-of-house restaurant operations and guest service.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook New York-style pizza slices and whole pies to Night Owl recipes and portion standards.
Operate and monitor deck ovens, adjust times/temperatures, and maintain consistent product quality.
Manage a fast-moving pizza line during busy shifts—assemble, bake, slice, and finish orders quickly and accurately.
Keep prep stations stocked: sauce, toppings, dough, and garnishes; assist with daily prep tasks as assigned.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols to keep the kitchen clean and safe.
Assist with receiving and basic inventory counts; rotate stock and label products per guidelines.
Communicate clearly with front-of-house teammates to coordinate ticket flow and special orders.
Required Qualifications
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (shift flexibility required).
Ability to work on your feet for long periods and safely lift up to 40 pounds.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset in a high-energy environment.
Willingness to complete food handler training or local food safety certification if required.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a high-volume pizza or quick-service kitchen.

Prepare and cook pizzas and burgers to Night Owl standards in a high-volume environment
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment including ovens, fryers, and dough presses
Follow portioning and presentation guidelines consistently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep and cook stations throughout service
Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards are met
Assist with prep tasks and restocking between shifts
Communicate clearly with teammates and management during service
Contribute to a positive kitchen culture based on teamwork and mutual respect
Availability for at least 3 shifts per week

Experience in high-volume kitchens strongly preferred

3 years of kitchen experience with 2yrs of pizza experience
$18–$22hr base pay
