Description

We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and creative Co-Pre K Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. In this role, you’ll work alongside a fellow teacher to plan and implement a rich and engaging curriculum that supports the whole-child development of 4–5-year-olds. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic educator who thrives in a team setting, communicates effectively with families, and is committed to fostering a positive classroom culture.

Responsibilities

Co-lead a Pre-K classroom, promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Collaborate on lesson plans with colleagues and that align with developmental milestones and school standards.
Facilitate play-based and structured learning experiences across core developmental areas.
Observe, document, and assess children’s progress and adjust instruction as needed.
Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
Support the emotional and social development of each child through consistent modeling and guidance.
Maintain classroom cleanliness, safety, and organization in accordance with licensing and school policies.
Attend staff meetings, parent conferences, and professional development workshops.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field preferred).
At least 1 year of experience in an early childhood or Pre-K classroom setting.
CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Strong classroom management and collaborative teaching skills.
Passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of child development.
Excellent communication skills and a nurturing, team-oriented mindset.
Must have a Livescan background clearance
